Edit a sequence: poses, movements & cue steps
Open a pose to edit it, group poses into movements, add timed cue steps, mirror a side, and select several at once.
Every part of a lesson is editable — generated or hand-built. Click a pose card to open it; click empty space to close and deselect.
Steps
- Open a pose (click its card) to edit the cue, set a modification, adjust the hold, or delete it.
- Cue steps: an open pose shows its step-by-step cues. Reorder them and set per-step timing anytime; tap the pencil to edit the wording, or 'Suggest cues' to fill them from the pose's choreography.
- Movements: consecutive poses are grouped into a named movement (a sun salutation, the standing run, the cool-down). Rename one with the pencil beside its title, collapse it to tidy the view, and drag the movement header to move the whole block.
- Select several poses by clicking each card — then Group, Mirror, or Duplicate them together, or drag the selection to a new spot. Click any whitespace to deselect.
- Mirror a one-sided pose (or a selected run) to add the other side — the copy is appended and the Right / Left side shows in each card's title.
- Use 'Choose from the library' to add or swap a pose — search by name, sanskrit, or tags. Drag poses to reorder. Save when you're done.
Tips
- The pose library includes modifications (like chair-supported variants) — search by what your students need.
- Tap Suggestions (a Studio+ feature) to get feedback on the class arc and balance plus polished movement names you can apply in a tap.
- Keep the main cue to one line — that's what teach mode shows you mid-class; use cue steps for the move-by-move choreography.
