Corpse Pose (Savasana)

Targets nothing physically — it is a complete and intentional release of all muscular effort, allowing the nervous system to shift fully into parasympathetic rest-and-digest mode. Helpful for integrating the physical and physiological benefits of the preceding practice, reducing cortisol, and consolidating the neuromuscular patterns developed during the flow. The movement is simply lying flat on the back with legs slightly apart and falling open naturally, arms a few inches from the body with palms facing up, eyes closed, and the jaw, tongue, and face completely soft for the full duration.
Cues
- Lie still, let the body be completely supported, and surrender into the breath.
