How do I get a certification verified?

Completed a teacher training or certification — from one of our partners or anywhere else? Submit it and we’ll verify it by hand. Verified certifications earn a credential badge, show on your public instructor profile, and can be worn on your avatar across the app.

Steps

1. Open Journey → Certifications and choose “Submit a certification”.
2. Enter the training title and issuer; if it was one of our partner trainings, pick it from the list so the matching credential badge (200hr, 300hr, or Yin) is awarded.
3. Attach your certificate as a PDF (up to 10 MB) and add a credential ID or verification URL if you have one — both speed up review.
4. Your submission shows as “Pending review” while we check it, usually within a few days.
5. Once verified, the credential badge appears on your badge wall — flip “Wear on avatar” to show it on your profile picture everywhere.

Tips

• If a submission is rejected you’ll see the reviewer’s note on the certification card — fix the details and submit again.
• Non-partner certifications are absolutely welcome; they earn the general Certified badge.
• You can attach, replace, or remove the PDF from the certification card while it's still pending review.
