Teach a one-off practice

Plan an adhoc practice that isn't a recurring class — a workshop, a pop-up, or a class you're covering.

A one-off practice is a sequence you can plan and teach without it being one of your recurring classes. It stays off your calendar and out of your class analytics until you choose to assign it — perfect for a workshop, a pop-up, or covering someone else's class.

Steps

  1. Tap Plan a lesson on your dashboard — or New under One-off practices on the Classes page — to start a fresh one.
  2. Build or generate the sequence in the planner just like any lesson, then save.
  3. Open Teach mode straight from the practice when it's time to lead it.
  4. Need a substitute to cover it? Use Share to send a read-only link to the plan.
  5. Want it on your calendar? Use Assign to pick a date and time (and optionally tie it to a class) — it moves onto your schedule and leaves the one-off list.

Tips

  • One-offs live in the One-off practices section on the Classes page until assigned.
  • They don't trigger class reminders and aren't counted in your studio review — assign one if you want it tracked like a class.
